I got a serious food question

Have any of you ever eaten pig's feet? I'm talking about the ones in the jars (pickled). If so, how do you eat them? Do you just pluck them out of the jar and eat them like a damn chicken wing? How about the ones lopped off in the pork section....are those any good to cook?
I really want to give this shit a try- maybe after a few beers tonight.

Sure, you can eat pigs feet, and you can eat pig lips too. Look for the ones that have had the hair removed, the hair can get caught in your teeth just like popcorn can, so it is a bitch to get out. Enjoy, and don't forget to have a fresh roll of toilet paper ready, those things can really grease up your system, you will squirt later.

In our family, its a Christmas tradition to have PPF along with the pickled herring, shrimp, cheeze blls...etc.

I don?t know why people like those damn things...tried them one and it was like eating cold Jell-O-flavored-fat.

At Christmas I stick with the pickled herring.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Always a good bet for eating somthing "different" but not toooo different, go with fried chicken gizzards. Those will make you thirsty to help you out with throwing down some brew, like you need the help.


Anything pickled wouldn't go too good with beer if you ask me.

I've never ate Pigs feet before, but I've seen done plenty of times. I've seen it cooked with the mexican dish posole too. Anyone ever try it there?

What about head cheese?

I go to the deli and the slab of head cheese is always opened and looks like it has been sliced, like people actually buy it. Isn't it brains all chopped up in there?

Has anyone eaten this? I bet it's got crunchy parts huh?
